Redmi Note 9S starts receiving stable MIUI 12.5 update in Europe. Download below…
The focus is slowly shifting from MIUI 12.5 to MIUI 13 as Xiaomi is set to announce its next iteration of MIUI this month. It might arrive later in the month, as more time is needed to refine the build and is said to focus on optimization and stability. And with that time frame in mind, we expect a swift MIUI 12.5 deployment this month for eligible phones yet to receive the build. That includes the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9S, POCO X3 / NFC.
Xiaomi, a couple of days ago, released a new update to the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9S. Unfortunately, the update sans the much-anticipated MIUI 12.5 and could only bump the Android security patch level to July 2021 to increase system security. Of course, it fortifies the device ahead of the planned MIUI 12.5 upgrade, which is probably the next update that will be pushed to the device.
The POCO X3 / NFC recently bagged a stable MIUI 12.5 update Globally, and hence, we expect a wider rollout this month. Also, the European variants and Indian models are in line for the update this month as Xiaomi looks to finalize the rollout. That said, we recommend that you update your device to the latest build for a seamless transition to MIUI 12.5. And if you run the global ROM on your POCO X3 / NFC, you can download the ROM and flash via Recovery.
Meanwhile, you can keep an eye on our tracker page to know when the update becomes available in your region. As for the next iteration of MIUI (MIUI 13), we expect Xiaomi to push with the August launch time frame, but it might be towards the month-end. But as usual, our tracker page is there for all the latest news.
