While some Xiaomi phones are yet to receive MIUI 12, some are already receiving a stable Android 11. A couple of days ago, the Mi 10 started grabbing the update in China and was later delivered to Redmi Note 9 Pro units in India. Yesterday, the Mi 10 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro started receiving the update, and now, the Redmi K30 5G has joined the party.
The stable Android 11 update for the Redmi K30 5G is hitting those units in China and comes as MIUI 12.1.1.0 RGICNXM. It’s still Beta Stable build, and as such, only selected users are going to receive the update, and over the next few days, the public rollout will commence.
As per the changelog, the update arrived with a “stable MIUI based on Android 11,” which is the only change that appeared on the log. But of course, you are also getting those Android 11 features as well as minor bug fixes and system optimization.
If you’re running the Chinese ROM on your Redmi K30 5G, then head over to the updater app and scan for the update. Also, you can make use of the download link below this post and manually download and flash the stable Android 11 update for the Redmi K30 5G.
Meanwhile, it’s advised that you back up the device data before installing the ROM. The reason being that it’s a cross-section Android upgrade and might lead to loss of data and glitches. However, if you encounter any bug after upgrading, perform a factory reset to fix the issue.
