Stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 7 starts arriving

The Redmi Note 7 was expected to receive Android 10 as part of MIUI 12, but instead, it arrived with stable MIUI 11. And since then, users have been waiting patiently for the MIUI 12. According to Redmi Note 7 users, stable MIUI 12 update is now arriving for the device.

For now, the update remains in the company’s country home, China, where devices such as Redmi Note 8 Pro, Mi 10, Redmi 10X, and Mi 10 Youth, have all received the stable MIUI 12 update. Meanwhile, the stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 7 is arriving with a build number, “MIUI 12.0.1.0 QFGCNXM”, and weighs in at 2.4GB. 

The update comes with all the MIUI 12 features such as Dark Mode, Floating Windows, New System Animation and UI, New Camera Functions, and Enhance Privacy. Also, it brings a new Android security patch, improves the system security, and fixes bugs. As usual, the update is first rolled out to few people, and in the absence of any serious bug, the public rollout will commence. As for the global users, it’s still unclear when the Stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 7 will start seeding.
