The Redmi Note 8T started receiving the stable MIUI 12 update a couple of weeks ago in some regions. It was the EEA users that first received the update, which after some time, started arriving for the global users. As expected, the same update is now available in Russia and will appear on all eligible units over the next few days.
The update is arriving as MIUI 12.0.2.0 QCXRUXM and will progressively appear on all eligible units. It comes along with all the features of MIUI 12,, bug fixes, system optimization, and the much-anticipated Android 10, which is the first and probably the last OS upgrade that will be sent to the device.
And while most of the Android 10 features are enabled by default, some features of MIUI 12 need manual activation. For instance, the new control center can be activated here, and as for the super wallpaper, you need to follow this link and learn how to get it working on your device.
We expect the stable MIUI 12 update for Redmi Note 8T in Russia to start arriving for the public in the coming days if everything goes smoothly. However, you can still follow the download link below this post and use the recovery method to flash the ROM on your device.
Note: you might encounter an error flashing the ROM, and in such a situation, you should give it some days and try again. But it would be best to wait for OTA as that’s always the best way to upgrade your device to the latest build.
