It seems the days of upgrading budget phones are over as Xiaomi moves to upgrade all their high-end smartphones to Android 12 with a stable MIUI 13 update. The current iteration of MIUI debuted in China on December 28 and has since arrived on a handful of phones. It has also been announced to global users, with Xiaomi 11T series expected to lead the charge. That didn’t happen, as Redmi Note 10 series phones were the first to receive the update. Nevertheless, the Xiaomi 11T Pro received the update a couple of days ago, while the Xiaomi 11T Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is now available for global users.
The Xiaomi 11T Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.2.0 SKWMIXM. It weighs in at 3.2GB and comes with a handful of features, as seen on the changelog. However, that’s not all of it. The new build has introduced the features of the current iteration of MIUI. That means there have been new additions – widgets, wallpapers, sidebar, and a revamped control center. Also, the update has bumped the Android OS to Android 12 while pushing the security level to January 2022. Below are the complete changes.
