Xiaomi 11T Pro upgrades to Android 12 globally with stable MIUI 13
Xiaomi has now released the much anticipated Xiaomi 11T Pro Android 12-based MIUI 13 update to the global users. The device is among the first devices to receive the update, but the company seems to focus on budget phones with their initial rollout Globally. And just a few hours after the upgrade arrived for Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G in Europe, it has now been made available for the Xiaomi 11T Pro users globally.
The Xiaomi 11T Android 12-based MIUI 13 update is seeding with a version number – MIUI 13.0.1.0 SKDMIXM. As usual, it’s a limited release to give time for select users to preview the ROM and see if there’s any bug missed by developers. In the end, if there’s no bug, the update will be released to the global users, and given the reports so far, we expect the release in the coming days.
The update brings a revamped control center. It integrates Mi Smart Hub – a way to connect the Xiaomi ecosystem. Also, there have been additions of a sidebar, widgets, and wallpapers. The build has reintroduced the features of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced and has optimized performance and system stability. Of course, the Android OS is now bumped to Android 12 while the security patch level is on January 2022 patch.
Again, the update is a limited rollout and hence, would be available for a few users. You can install manually via the links below, but we recommend waiting for the OTA. Nevertheless, if you opt for the former, we recommend backing up your data before proceeding.
