[Update] Xiaomi Mi 10 gets Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 in Europe

Xiaomi has been pushing the Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5 to eligible users for weeks now. It’s expected that after the deployment, MIUI 13 – the next iteration of MIUI will start rolling out. And going by our recent report, the company could present the build, at least in China, in November. Of course, the Mi 10 is eligible, but that would be after upgrading to the current version of MIUI. The update is currently seeding in Europe along with the anticipated features and new security patch level.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Enhanced Edition of MIUI 12.5, as usual, is being sent to Mi Pilots. Depending on the outcome, the public will start getting the update in the coming days, which will arrive with a version number – MIUI 12.5.5.0 RJBEUXM – in an 815MB package. It comes with features to improve device operations and provide more life between charges. These features include Atomized Memory, Liquid Storage, Focused Algorithm, and Smart Balance.
Aside from introducing these features, the update has bumped the Android security patch level to September 2021 to increase system security and stability. It also addressed some issues relating to the lock screen, home screen, status bar, and notification shade. You can check for the complete changes via this link.
Going by feedback, the update is safe and has supposedly improved the performance of the device. Animations are smooth while battery backup has improved. It has increased system security and stability while addressing some bugs. The update also fortifies the device ahead of the stable Android 12 and MIUI 13 upgrades.
