Xiaomi Mi 11 starts pushing stable MIUI 12.5 globally
The stable MIUI 12. 5 rollout is in full swing in China at the moment, while only Redmi Note 10S and flagship Mi 11 have only received the update globally. So far, only the European variants of the latter have got the update, which is currently under testing. The preview will last for a couple of days, after which the public rollout will commence. And while the preview is ongoing, the update has been extended to the global models.
Of course, the Xiaomi Mi 11 global stable MIUI 12.5 update is under testing as only Mi Pilots are receiving the update. The update has a version number – MIUI 12.5.1.0 RKBMIXM – and weighs in at 599MB. As expected, it brings the features of the new MIUI skin, which has improved system stability.
Xiaomi, a couple of weeks ago, accepted the need to improve its in-house Android skin. That’s what MIUI 12.5 seems to focus on with the features it presents, which is essentially an improvement over the current version (MIUI 12). With the latest version, power consumption is reduced by 20%, and with more rendering power, MIUI is now faster, smoother, and lighter.
