Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Xiaomi is not looking to slow down rolling out Android 10 to its device. Early reports suggested that Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8 and 8A are in a Closed beta testing, and now the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Android 10 starts arriving.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE debuted along with the flagship Mi 9 of last year, but runs a high-end Snapdragon 712 SoC instead. It was the phone that first debuted the Qualcomm processor running Android Pie. And 13 months after, the phone is receiving a new MIUI stable update based on Android 10.
The build weighs 2.2GB and has a version number MIUI 11.0.2.0 QFBEUXM. It comes along with an updated Android security patch for February 2020, bug fixes, and System Optimization.
Xiaomi MI 9 SE Android 10 Changelog
System
- Updated Android security patch for February
- 2020 Increased System security
- Stable MIUI based on Android 10
Apart from the changes that appeared on the changelog, the update looks to have brought Widevine L1 support to the device, meaning you can now watch Netflix videos on High Definition. For now, that’s the only change we can confirm as we wait on more feedback.
To scan for the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE Android 10 update, go to the updater app. However, the update is a staged rollout, and it’s likely to experience some delay before making to all compatible device. So, if you check and the update is not there, try exercise patience and check back later.

A reminder that the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is a 5.97-inch display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It has a triple 48MP camera and uses a notch for the 20MP selfie snapper. The battery is a 3070mAh capacity that supports 18W fast charge, and again, it runs the Snapdragon 712 SoC. You can read the full specs here.

Messed up my Bluetooth audio.. Dynamic range is compressed and sounds like crap. WTF they done I don’t know. Worked perfectly the day before. Any way to downgrade without unlocking?
The easiest way is to download recovery ROM of the previous update. Make sure it’s that of your device. This here:https://adimorahblog.com/how-to-flash-miui-recovery-rom-on-xiaomi-phones/
