Xiaomi has just released a new stable update for the Mi 9T. The update is the stable version of the recently released MIUI 11.0.5.0 QFKMIXM/ QFJKEUXM Beta stable that started dropping a few days ago. Now, the general public are getting the Mi 9T Global Stable update. It will arrive through the Updater app via OTA, with a version number MIUI 11.0.5.0 QFJMIXM.
However, the update is a staged rollout, and it’s currently arriving at random, but will get to every compatible unit eventually. You can check for the update on your updater app and see if anything is there. But on the contrary, you can follow the link we have added below to download the update and flash.
Note: We won’t be responsible for any damage flashing this ROM might bring to your device. It’s recommended that you wait for OTA if you haven’t flashed MIUI ROM before. However, you can follow our detailed guide on how to flash MIUI ROM: Recovery/Fastboot.

Mi 9T Global stable update feedback
According to Xiaomi’s Mi Fans team: ( Beta version)
- The new update has improved operation on the phone, now smoother
- Games and apps now load faster without any form of lag
- Auto-brightness works more adequately
- The mobile data (LTE) working seamlessly without any interruptions
- WiFi turns on faster now
- Battery backup improved, but only from 100-99% goes down much slower. Overall, the battery performance is encouraging as you now get 25 minutes on-screen time at the expense of 5-8% battery life. Another interesting thing is that when you don’t use the phone, especially at night, you will wake up to notice the phone drained just 1% battery.
Mi 9T Global stable update bugs (MIUI 11.0.5.0 QFJMIXM)
From the beta version, the below bugs were reported:
- The phone still lags when auto-brightness is turned on
- Mobile data turns on very slow
We believe the changes that came to the Beta users are what the Global stable users will be getting as well. Perhaps, that’s why the public is getting the update a few days after the Beta build was released. With that, the update is safe, go ahead and download once you get a prompt notification, or you can follow the links below and download.
