Xiaomi Mi CC9 is official with amazing color design
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 debuted alongside the CC9e. But while the former runs Snapdragon 665, the latter has Snapdragon 710 under the hood. Mi CC9 has a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a massive 91% body-to-screen ratio and underneath, is an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi took time in designing the CC series with extra attention given to the colors. According to Xiaomi “White Lover White resembles light glistening on the surface of the snow, refracting holographic colors in various angles. Blue Planet has a unique “CC” pattern, which is enabled by an even more complex nano-technology manufacturing process, causing the phone’s surface to resemble moonlight shimmering on the ocean.”
Also on the design, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 features a vertical logo with a multi-color LED light at the rear panel. It acts as a notification LED while colors also give special effects for games and can pulse along with the beat of your music.
Apart from the size of the display and the Chipset, along with the 18W (Quick Charge 4.0), there’s no much difference with Mi CC9e. However, there’s the difference in the pricing as Mi CC9 will start from 1,799 CNY ($261) for the base 6/64 variant. The 6/128GB option will sell for 1,999 CNY ($290), while the Meitu Edition with 8/128GB configuration will go for 2,599 CNY ($378). Starting from July 5TH, customers will be able to purchase the device.
Meanwhile, the Meitu Edition is a specially designed Mi CC9, with a gradient color which resembles beaches of the Bahamas. It has a customized UI theme and a special ringtone that vibrates with the holographic back panel. There’s what is called Meitu camera features and video editing, special AI low-light portrait feature, AI Beautify feature that supports zero-level microdermabrasion for a natural looking photo.
