Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus gets New Update
Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus gets new update, just couple of weeks after a new update was rolled out to the device. Now a new update has been seen hitting the device with version number MIUI V9.5.1.0 NEGCNFA Stable.
Though the update is not a major one as it only waeigh 317MB, but it do come with so many changes. Along with the new update includes, System, Lock Screen, Status Bar and Notification Bar, Themes, Gallery, Settings, Data Usage and Block List.
Also, the update has pushed the Security patch level to February 2018.

- One time data limit (hotspots turns off automatically when data limit is reached)
- Full Screen Gesture (can replace navigation buttons)
- Add photos to favorite
- Optimize local storage to free up memory
- Separate data usage limit for individual Sims
- Add sims keywords to exception

- Improved Bluetooth switch responsiveness
- You can select custom covers for albums with people
- Automatic Download for photos from MI cloud
Meanwhile, the update is currently hitting Redmi 5 Plus still running Official Chinese ROM. Therefore, if your still on Chinese ROM, and haven’t received a prompt notification for the update, then navigate to setting >>My device >> search for Updates.
