Xiaomi confirmed the Redmi 7 specs when they officially announced the device in China. The event also saw Redmi Note 7 Pro introduced in the country after the initial unveiling in India. Redmi 7 follows the tradition of the brand of a big screen and massive battery, including other interesting features, and not excluding the affordable price tag.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 Specs
The Redmi 7 sports a 6.26-inch display of 720 x 1520px resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio panel. Its an IPS LCD panel with 269PPI density and a massive 81.5% screen to body ration, thanks to the teardrop notch and tiny bezel. Extra protection is provided to the screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Powering the device is the recently launched Snapdragon 632 Octa-core chip that implements kryo architecture, having its highest cores clocking at 1.8GHz. Its paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with an option for expansion using Micron SD card up to 512GB. There’s Adreno 506 GPU for decent graphics and to enhance screen experience.
The camera packs some interesting features. On the rear end is a dual 12MP f/2.2 sensor paired with a 2MP depth effect lens for portraits. Some of its features include LED-flash, HDR, and panorama, while the selfie snapper is an 8MP shooter.
Redmi 7 packs a whopping 4000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charge via Micro USB port. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric verification.
