Xiaomi MIUI 14 bugs: check below for all the bugs and affected devices…
The latest iteration of MIUI (MIUI 14) has been rolling out for months and has already been made available for a bunch of Xiaomi phones. While the upgrade has been seamless, some issues are being reported.
Xiaomi MIUI updates before now are arguably the Android skin with the most bugs. New issues seem to surface after each upgrade, even when it’s not a new iteration of MIUI. There has been a massive improvement in that aspect with the introduction of MIUI 14. The latest iteration of MIUI has seen the lowest bug report, which is good for MIUI lovers.
Meanwhile, some MIUI 14 bugs have been reported. Interestingly, only the Xiaomi Pad 5 users are reporting random reboots – which used to affect almost all phones after a new iteration of the MIUI upgrade. As expected, the company has pledged to address the issue and others listed here.

The screen Automatically lights up after locking the screen
The issue affects the POCO F3, Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12T Pro, Xiaomi 12 Lite, and Xiaomi 11i. Affected regions are Global and Brazil, with the cause attributed to Voeazul (Brazilian airline app), which sends a Fullscreen item when updating notifications, causing the screen to light up.
Battery Drain
The issue affects only the Xiaomi 11T users running the Russian build. It’s unknown what’s causing the problem, but the company is analyzing it and will hopefully release a fix soon.
