Xiaomi finally unveiled the MIUI 12.5 globally two days ago. The update, according to the rollout schedule, will start rolling out in Q2 (April). It will arrive for the Mi 10 series and the Mi 11 before making it to other Xiaomi phones. Meanwhile, the list only has a few eligible phones on it and has cast doubt, especially among the POCO fans. Xiaomi, yesterday in a virtual event, presented the MIUI 12.5 globally. They have also released a list of phones that’ll receive the update starting from April ( Q2 2021). Surprisingly, and ahead of some premium phones, the Redmi 9 will receive the MIUI 12.5 around June (Q2 2021 ending). Of course, the Redmi 9C will get the update, but we don’t know when yet. As expected, Xiaomi has officially presented the latest MIUI custom Android skin globally. According to Xiaomi, MIUI is now lighter and faster. With MIUI 12.5, power consumption is reduced to 20%, while gestures have been optimized for high priority and instant response.
