Xiaomi is swiftly rolling out the MIUI 12 stable update, and it seems the company is about to start the second phase of the rollout. A couple of days ago, they announced that few Redmi phones will be moved to the first phase, which will see those registered for Beta testing start getting the MIUI 12 update.
The company has now released the update, which is currently hitting the global variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro. We expect the update to also arrive for Redmi Note 7 and POCO F1 shortly since both phones alongside the Note 8 Pro were recently recruited to test the MIUI 12.
Meanwhile, the First MIUI 12 beta stable update for Redmi Note 8 Pro is hitting the device with a build number, MIUI 12.0.0.4 QGGMIXM. It weighs in at 632MB with just to changes appearing on the changelog. Nevertheless, it comes with most features of the MIUI 12, which include New System Visuals, New System Animation, Dark Mode 2.0, Enhance security, and New camera functions.
Thus far, the update is limited to Beta testers and will take a few weeks before it become available for everyone. However, we have added a link from where you can download the update, but you will need an authorized Mi account to bypass the security check.
