Latest update MIUI Global Beta ROM 9.8.20 starts rolling out
Xiaomi has started pushing out a new update – MIUI Global Beta ROM 9.8.20 to all it’s smartphones, focusing on system optimization and bug fixes. The recently released POCO F1 has had the issue of face unlock option disappearing when the Region is changed to Thailand fixed.. Redmi Note 5 Pro (India) and Redmi Note 5 Pro (Global) with the issue of some apps not showing up on the notification bar, has also been fixed.

- Battery position changing the location to become close to Network type indicator
- Automatic installation of leaks applications
- Showing PM/AM first on the notification panel when the screen is rotated
- Back camera error during hardware test
- Footer in WhatsApp notification colliding with new message information
- Text in volume bar not translating to Russian
- Some characters in the volume panel not translating in Russia
- MI store has stopped working
- Volume panel shows up abnormally
- Text gets cropped even with the lowest size XS on Private Messaging Settings.
The MIUI Global Beta ROM 9.8.20 has started rolling through OTA. If you’re yet to receive a prompt notification for the update, then navigate to settings >> my device>>MIUI version to scan for the update.
