Xiaomi has recently started rolling out the December security patch update, with Redmi 8A and 7A among the first few devices to receive the update. The Mi 9 Lite and Mi 9 SE have also received the update that bumped the security patch to December, and now, a new POCO M2 Pro update has started seeding. However, it could only push the patch level to November, which is the only change on the log.

The POCO M2 Pro users have been waiting for a while for a new update, and Xiaomi finally started rolling out an update to the device in India yesterday. The build arrived with a version number, MIUI 12.0.2.0 QJPINXM, and weighs in at 356MB. It’s a security patch update and nothing more, and hence you would notice a slight change in the performance and system stability.

Meanwhile, the new POCO M2 Pro update is only available for limited users. They’re going to test the build for bugs and should start rolling out to the public in the coming days. However, we have added a link down this post if you would like to perform a manual flash. And while flashing this ROM, you might encounter an error “flash to this stable ROM not allowed.” That’s normal as the update is still available only to limited users, give it some days and try again.
