POCO X3 Pro stops over at NBTC as the device nears launch

POCO claims to be an independent brand but still depends on the parent company – Xiaomi. Towards the end of last year, the company debuted the POCO X3/NFC running Android 10 on top of MIUI 12. The device was well received, and in turn, the company has been supporting the device with frequent security patch updates. They’ll also be upgrading it alongside the POCO F2 Pro to MIUI 12.5 in Q2 of this year, and that’ll probably arrive with Android 11 for the POCO X3. However, building on the popularity, the company is gearing up to launch a Pro variant.

POCO X3 Pro

The POCO X3 Pro launch seems to be imminent as the device has been spotted on different certification agency websites. It was recently listed on the NBTC website with a model number – M2102J20SG.  The device has also passed the BIS certification, where it was listed as M2102J20SI. It means the device will launch globally and in India, but unfortunately, there are not many details about the device specifications.

POCO X3 Pro specifications

POCO X3 Pro specifications are unknown at the moment, but there have been some rumors of the device features. Early leaks suggest the phone will run an SM8150 chipset, which belongs to the Snapdragon 855 and Snapdragon 855+. However, there are rumors that the phone will debut with the Snapdragon 860 SoC.

For optics, the device is tipped to feature a rear Quad sensor. The primary sensor is said to feature a 48MP shooter and will be flanked by an ultrawide lens, a macro shooter, and a depth sensor. We expect a big battery and fast charging capability. Of course, the device will run MIUI on top of Android, and we hope to see if it’s MIUI 12.5 and Android 11. Perhaps, it depends on the launch time as the former will only start seeding in April.

Nevertheless, we hope to learn more about the POCO X3 Pro features in the coming days. We expect the company to start releasing teasers and posters, which will reveal more details of the upcoming Poco phone.
