The Snapdragon 460 is the latest mid-range SOC offering from Qualcomm, which debuted along with SD 662 and Snapdragon 720G. Unfortunately, none of the SoC debuted with the Qualcomm 5G network connectivity features.
Meanwhile, the SD 460 is the successor of the Snapdragon 450 and a huge upgrade from last year’s SD 439. The SoC is built on an 11nm manufacturing process and uses the Kryo 240 Octa-Core processor. It has the highest cores clocked at 1.8GHz, which promises improved performance on mid-range phones.
Snapdragon 460 phones will deliver rich graphics that will enhance the gaming experience with the improved Adreno 610, which also features in the SD 662 SoC. The Spectra 340 takes of the camera aspect and will support up to 48MP single lens or dual 22MP snapper. You will enjoy 1080p @30fps on your SD 460 phones as well.
The internet connectivity of Snapdragon 460 phones won’t deliver the best speed but will reach up to 390Mbps on maximum download speed and 150Mbps on uploads. There’s dual VoLTE; Wi-Fi 6 support, which means you get strong internet connectivity even in the worst conditions. Also, the SoC will support Bluetooth 5.1, Quick Charge 3.0 and other amazing connectivity features.
More interestingly, the SD 460 phones will be offered at an affordable price tag. Smartphones running the SoC will likely start hitting the shelves in a couple of weeks from now.

Vivo Y20

Qualcomm announced the SD 460 SoC back in January this year, and it has taken eight months for the first Snapdragon 460 phone to hit the market. And is Vivo Y20 and the Y20i that first made it to our list of Snapdragon 460 phones.
The Vivo Y20 features a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. At the back is a triple arrangement consisting of a primary 13MP shooter, 2MP Macro, and 2MP depth sensor. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery and runs Android 10 based on FunTouch OS 10.5 outside of the box.
Vivo Y20i

Both the Y20i and Y20 share the same design and specs, except that the former has a RAM capacity of 3GB while the latter features 4GB RAM. Also, the Y20i comes in a different color of Nebula Blue Gradient and shares the Dwan White shade with the Vivo Y20.
The battery capacity is the same and supports 18W fast charging, while the fingerprint scanner is side-mounted. Under the hood is SD 460 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and up to 64GB expandable memory slot.

Nokia 3.4 is the latest device on our list of affordable SD 460 phones. It features value for money specs and for an asking price of $166, you should consider the device.
The design is great and compact, with the screen measuring just 6.39-inch. It’s an LCD panel of 720 x 1560p resolution and can reach 400nit on full blast. The Snapdragon 460 SoC is paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM with an option for expansion.
For power, a 4000mAh battery with 10W fast charge takes care of things while outside-of-the-box, you get Android 10. The device is offered in Fjord, Charcoal, and Dusk colors. And for the camera, it consists of 13MP + 5MP + 2MP modules at the back and on the front, a single 8MP shooter.
OnePlus Nord N100

The OnePlus Nord N100 for that price is just overpriced. For less, you can get the Redmi Note 9, which is an all round better phone.
The screen measures 6.52-inch with a 720 x 1600px resolution. It sports a hole for a single 8MP shooter while at the back is head by 13MP snapper, which is flanked by two additional sensors; 2MP depth and 2MP macro.
The Snapdragon 460 SoC is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB RAM. Outside-of-the-box, you get Android 10 based on OxygenOS 10.5 while the battery is 5000mAh with 18W fast charging.
