The speed Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 12.5 update in China isn’t the same as the global deployment. That’s a fact, as a bunch of phones now run the new MIUI OS in China, while only a few have received it globally. The Redmi Note 10S, Note 10 Pro, and Mi 11 have received MIUI 12.5 globally and have now been joined by Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. But as usual, only a select few will receive the update for preview, which will last for a few days before the public rollout kicks off.

The stable MIUI 12.5 update for Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is only available in Europe at the time of this report. It’s expected to arrive in other regions very soon, with features of the new MIUI OS. These features are essentially an improvement over the current version to improve the stability and performance of the system. Xiaomi has come under fire recently for the bugs affecting its in-house MIUI Android skin, which probably prompted the release of MIUI 12.5 to address these issues. And according to few people running the new OS already, the stability and performance of their phones have improved.

Xiaomi has started pushing a stable MIUI 12.5 update in Europe to the Mi 10 Pro. The update is currently seeding for select users pending a successful preview. That’s when the MIUI 12.5.1.0 RJSMIXM will be released for everyone. However, you can download the ROM if you have an authorized Mi Beta account or TWRP recovery installed and flash manually.
