POCO F1 and POCO X3 NFC starts getting a stable MIUI 12 update

The Poco F1 came before other Poco phones while the C3 is the company’s latest offering and also the cheapest of them all. As phones that debuted post-MIUI 12 unveilings, they came pre-installed with the new Android skin. The Poco F1, however, debuted with MIUI 10 based on Android 8 Oreo and had since received MIUI 11, which came along with Android 9. Early this year, the device bagged the Android 10 update, while the MIUI 12 update has arrived for a selected few.

Stable MIUI 12 update for the Poco F1

It looks like the company has started rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update for the POCO F1 to more people. The current version ( MIUI 12.0.2.0 QEJMIXM) shows it’s the second time the update is being rolled out. It weighs in at a massive 1.9GB, but expect a different sized update if you’re running the previous MIUI 12 build.

As for the POCO X3 NFC, it’s the global variant that’s now receiving a new stable update. It has a build number, MIUI 12.0.3.0 QJGMIXM, and will progressively appear on all eligible devices. If you’re running the EEA ROM, you should check here for the latest update.

And as normal with OTAs, the update will take sometime before appearing on your POCO F1 or POCO X3 NFC. However, you can manually flash the ROM using the download links below. Here is how to flash MIUI ROM via the Recovery method.

POCO F1 is currently receivng a new update with a version number, MIUI 12.0.3.0 QEJMIXM. It weighs in at 2.0GB and comes with the December security patch. Check the full list here
