Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is the company’s first tablet in like three years. It debuted alongside the Pro variants, which seems to be exclusive to the Chinese market. The duo has compelling specs, and above all, an affordable price tag. Although the price might differ should the Tablet arrive on the global market, we still anticipate a decent price tag. And as typical of Xiaomi, they have released the first Mi Pad 5 stable update.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 debuted with Android 11 on top of MIUI 12.5. Given the company’s update policy, the unit will receive an OTAs update for the next three years. How to flash Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 updates via Recovery

First, you need to download the Recovery/OTA ROM and move it to your device’s internal memory. After, you should head to the Updater App and click on the three dots on the top left. Click choose update package and select the ROM that you downloaded. The system will verify the ROM, and once the verification is completed, the flashing will commence. Xiaomi Pad 5 in India has started receiving the much-anticipated Android 13-based MIUI 14 upgrade. The update is rolling out with a version number MIUI 14.0.1.0 TKXINXM and weighs 3.1GB. Those in Turkey have started getting an upgrade to Android 13 with a stable MIUI 14 update. It’s arriving with a version number MIUI 14.0.1.0 TKXTRXM and brings all the expected features. Xiaomi is now pushing a new update to the global version of its Pad 5. The update is available globally and in Taiwan. It’s currently hitting eligible units with a version number – MIUI 12.5.4.0 RKXMIXM and MIUI 12.5.2.0 RKXTRXM.
