Early reports about the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro suggested the phone won’t be debuting with the best features, particularly the camera, as Xiaomi will focus more on the pricing. To an extent, we believe that to be true, considering how the predecessor was welcomed as a flagship killer, with basic features of a flagship. However, recent leaks have shown the device will be debuting as a true flagship with the specs that have now been confirmed.
After months of anticipation, Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro will officially go live on March 24. The device is coming like a dream phone for gamers in 2020. Unlike what we witnessed with POCO F1 and K20 Pro, the K30 Pro is more than just an SD 865 powered phone.
Xiaomi has confirmed the phone to debut with UFS 3.1 265GB of storage and 12GB LDDPR5 RAM. Also, it will feature the biggest vapor cooling chamber ever for a smartphone to minimize generated heat during gaming. The 6.67-inch screen that refreshes at 120Hz is another thing that will interest gamers but, we don’t know yet if it’s an AMOLED or LCD panel. However, it’s going to be a notch-less display with an in-display fingerprint scanner, while the selfie snapper will make use of a motorized pop-up mechanism.
The phone is said to top up the 4500mAh with a 27W fast charging. Unlike other flagship, the device will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack, to further enhance your gaming experience with minimal audio sound.
There will be a special Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro zoom Edition, according to Lu Weibing, Xiaomi general manager. The zoom edition will feature a telephoto lens and will have OIS together with the primary snapper, and that’s all about the phone for now.
We continue to wait for March 24 to learn about the pricing and availability, and the complete specs of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro. More importantly, the global launch of the phone, which is likely to debut as POCO F2 in India and on the Global market as Mi 10T.
