Android 10 starts arriving on Redmi Note 7

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is among the best Xiaomi phones of 2019, with its specs and affordable price tag. The device debuted running Android 9 based on MIUI 10 user interface, which also runs the Pro version. Meanwhile, both phones have since updated to MIUI 11, still on Android Pie, but that’s about to change. According to the news, Android 10 for Redmi Note 7 will start arriving in three weeks from now.

The news came from the official Chinese community Close Beta Section, where it was alleged about Android 10 for Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro program being on the pipes. Unfortunately, the Chinese variant is what’s on Beta testing now, and we have no clue on how long it is going to last. However, based on assumption, Closed Beta testing takes 2-3 weeks, after which the public release will start rolling out.

And for the Global version, there’s currently no official information on when the update will start arriving. But based on previous experience, it will take between 1 – 2 months before the update starts making it to eligible phones. Or rather, before a Beta Testing program will be opened for the Global users.

As we wait on Android 10 for Redmi Note 7, check out how MIUI 11 is performing on the device. The update arrived weeks ago, and if you’re yet to update, you should do so. To do that, go to Settings> My Device> MIUI Version> Check updates.

The update, meanwhile, brought along a new full-view experience, dynamic alarm notification, Mi Share, and a lot of other features. And if you’re using the Chinese version, check here for the full features of MIUI 11.

A reminder that Redmi Note 7 debuted with 6.3- inch LCD and runs Snapdragon 675 Octa-Core processor. It’s coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The battery capacity is 4000mAh with 18W quick charge support. You can purchase the device from this link, as well as other offers.
