As usual, it was a partial release, and as such, only selected users got the update. However, according to the latest report, Xiaomi has released the stable MIUI 12 ROM for Redmi Note 8 to the general public.
The update will progressively arrive on all eligible units over the next few days. But since the ROM has passed the preview stage, you can make use of the links below and download the ROM. Also, the MIUI 12 Fastboot ROM for the Redmi Note 8 is available for download.
If you’re receiving the update for the first time, it will arrive with a version number, MIUI 12.0.1.0 QCOMIXM. It comes with all the features of MIUI 12 alongside the much anticipated Android 10. It also bumped the security patch level to September 2020 to improve the system security, which are the only changes that appeared on the changelog.
