Late last year, Xiaomi confirmed it has started developing MIUI 12 – the company’s next Android skin. Since then, there have been so many reports about the UI. It’s believed the company will start Closed Beta testing in September, with the public expected to start getting a stable version of the update in December.
However, we don’t believe the authenticity of that report because Xiaomi starts Beta testing of new MIUI in May, and by September, it will start rolling it out the public.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi hasn’t officially released any statement about the MIUI 12 roadmap, and until they do that, we will know exactly when the update will drop.
As for Xiaomi phones that will get MIUI 12 update, over 40 of them will probably get the update. However, it doesn’t mean they’ll get the new Android 11 OS, except for a few of them. Check here for the Xiaomi phone that will get Android 11.
