The MIUI 12 is now official Globally and will start arriving from June. More than 50 Xiaomi phones will receive the latest iteration of MIUI globally. Unfortunately, the Redmi Note 4-series didn’t make the list and luckily for Redmi Note 5-series, the update will arrive on the device during the second rollout.
The update promises some fascinating features such as enhanced privacy, Dark mode 2.0, revamped UI, Floating windows, Super wallpapers, Live AOD (Always-on-display), and Lifelike animation and visual. According to Max Ma, head of Xiaomi Global internet business, MIUI now supports over 80 languages, with over 328 million active users spread across 221 regions.
Meanwhile, from the official list of Xiaomi phones that will receive the MIUI 12 Global stable update, it says the device will start receiving the update towards the tail of June.
